How to Reduce IT Cost in Your Office?

reduce cost How to Reduce IT Cost in Your Office?Every businessman who have his/her own office is always trying to minimize the unnecessary cost around his office because by doing so, they can get more profit. Well, in this article, I’m going to share how you can simply reduce the cost from IT side because if you don’t pay enough attention to this side, you may waste your money!

1. Replace the old computer with the new one

Most people think that it is cheaper to use ‘old’ computer instead of using a new one because the price of new computer will kill their purse. In fact, old computer tend to consume more power than new one does. You may end up paying high electricity bill if you keep using the old computer.

If you plan to buy new personal computer, I recommend you to buy the one with new technology like intel core i3, i5, or even i7. This new technology can perform very well while consume less power than the old technology.

2. Analyze Your Network

Internet connection for an office is a must. This is the easiest way to interact with anyone else out there. Usually an office use wifi network to share the internet connection. Then, my question is, have you ever analyze your wireless network? Are you sure that your wireless network is used properly?

I found that many office never analyze their wireless network so when a hacker steal their connection, they know nothing unless their internet bill double or triple in the end of the month. Therefore I recommend you to use network analyzer to analyze this thing. Better prevent it from now on.

Hope these two tips useful for you. Good luck!
